"BLCK hedi SliManE" (also known as "BLCK hedi"[1]) is a song by Digital Nas that was released onto his secret fourth tape, DN2.9 and was brought back in 2025 for his studio album TAMPERING WITH SOUND.[2] The song features a sample of Kanye West on the intro.

Production[]

The song features a pitched up sample of Kanye West saying "It's been like that for a minute, Hedi Slimane" from a 2017 interview.[3] The song runs at a tempo of 67 BPM in the A key with a minor mode.

Background[]

The song was created some time during 2022 amidst the Donda 2 sessions. It released as the fourth and final track to Digital Nas' secret album DN2.9.[4] The song had also been performed live during Digital Nas' Rolling Loud 2023 set.[5]

The song was worked on again some time in 2024 and had been finished. On September 24th, Digital Nas shared messages with Kanye discussing releasing the song.[6] He later shared snippet of the song.[7] On the SoundCloud page to the leak, Digital Nas commented asking for the song to be taken down as a finished mix had been planned to release. The song is said to have more verses on it.[8]

Digital Nas would share DMs between him and Kanye telling Kanye to release the song as soon as possible, with Kanye responding "I need to set it up where it's not my responsibility though", heavily indicating Kanye had also recorded a feature verse intended for the song.[9]

On January 22nd, 2025 Digital Nas would share an untitled project with fanpages "DNLeaks" among others, resulting in the project leaking in its entirety. Despite featuring a new second verse from Digital Nas, it appears Kanye's verse intended for the song had been scrapped. However, West's verse might be brought back for the physical release of the album.

HIDE YOUR BITCH rumor[]

There was a rumor about an unreleased song titled "HIDE YOUR BITCH" by Kanye West, supposedly created in 2025 for his eleventh solo studio album BULLY. The song was unnamed at the time and had been given the name "HIDE YOUR BITCH" by the community due to the repetition of the word throughout the song's snippet.

The song was randomly teased on Kanye's Instagram on January 15th, 2025.[10] This post included a pornographic video clip with the song playing. However, it turns out that this was not an original song and just an acapella of an unused part of Kanye's verse on "BLCK hedi".

Music video[]

Digital Nas retweeted a tweet from a stream featuring behind-the-scenes footage of himself in a recording of the music video to "BLCK hedi".[11] The video features Digital Nas walking and dancing while a video is being projected in the background which contains car footage.[11]

Lyrics[]

[Intro: Kanye West]
It's been like that for a minute, Hedi Slimane

[Verse 1: Digital Nas]
Uh, Ahh
What is he sayin'? What is he wearin'? What is wearin', aye
He's so sick, what does he rock? Hedi Slimane, aye
What're you sayin'? Know he the one, Hedi Slimane
CC3's, Saint Laurent, they'll all ride him today
Why you wanna run your check up today?
Piece cost a bust-down, [?]
Why you wanna run your check all today?
Piece cost a bust-down, [?]
As he once, as he once, as he once
As he once said
"See you on top," no you will not
What am I supposed to say?
As he once, as he once, as he once
As he once said
"See you on top," no you will not
What am I supposed to say?

[Bridge: Digital Nas & Kanye West]
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
It's been like that for a minute, Hedi Slimane

[Verse 2: Digital Nas]
Uh-huh, we the new black KKK
They talk way too much, I'm ready to stain (grr)
They hate way too much, I'm ready to bang (bitch, bow-bow)
Tattooes on my head (on my head)
I can't just chill my brothers, they feds (they all feds)
I can't just shoot my n***as in the head (head, in the head)
I can't just shoot her, ain't enough bread (bitch, bread, bitch)
Need 400 M's, tell 'em we gon spin
Tell 'em that's your end, do this for my end
Uh-huh, bitch
