Production[]
The production on this track is very reflecting with electric guitars and a stadium feel. The song has a BPM of 78.[1] It interpolates Prince's "It's Gonna Be Lonely."[2]
Background[]
In episode 4 of the documentary web series #Road2KoTF hosted by The WRLDFMSTony Williams, the song was previewed and it shows the brief creation of the track.[3] On March 21, 2022, a demo of the song was leaked it features mumble lyrics from Kanye, with more muddy production.[4] The song was initially the last song on Graduation before Kanye West decided on the two bonus tracks.[5] The track raps about Kanye West finding his mentor Jay-Z and No I.D. The song's hook and concept were conceived by West on an elevator ride.[6] According to Kanye West himself on the digital radio station BBC Radio 1Xtra this track was the best lyrically and one of the best in general songs on Graduation.[7]
