"Black Men Don't Cheat" (also known by the title of In My Eyes) is an unreleased song by Kanye West and fellow Chicago rapper Chance The Rapper created in 2018 during their sessions for their collaborative album Good Ass Job.[1] The song features backing adlibs from Ant Clemons and features production done solely by Pi'erre Bourne.[2]
Production[]
The song runs at a tempo of 78 BPM in the F# key with a mode of minor.[3]
Background[]
Although unclear if the song dates back earlier like most of the songs created for Good Ass Job, the earliest known version of the song dates back to the beginning of the sessions when Ant Clemons was recording for the album, this song being one of the many songs he recorded for.[4] Kanye had also recorded a rough mumble verse for the song that was not used in later versions.[5]
After this, Chance would record a reference for Kanye.[6] It's unclear if he ever recorded for this reference or if the song had ever been worked on again past this point.
Lyrics[]
[Intro: Jamie Foxx]
Yo, Pi'erre, you wanna come out here?
[Chorus: Chance The Rapper]
Black men don't cheat, don't lie
You know why, Cause it's deceit, So why?
I can never ever ever tell my bitch, "trick don't try"
She trust me ask why? I don't lie

Black men don't cheat, don't lie
Not to my wife, not to my girl, not to my side don't lie
Yo, Pi'erre, you wanna come out here?
Black men don't creep, don't try
Cause that shit is for the birds, ask my side chick
She tell you I'm always at the crib
Don't, don't try
[?]
[Verse: Chance The Rapper]
Yo, Pi'erre, you wanna come out here?
