Candace Amber Owens Farmer (born April 29, 1989) is an American conservative influencer. She is known for her pro-Trump activism as a black woman, in addition to her criticism of Black Lives Matter and the Democratic Party.[1] After backing Ye for a few years, she became a vocal supporter for him in the late months of 2022. As Ye dove into more controversy, at times she has appeared to be his only celebrity supporter. The two share similar thoughts on the Black Lives Matter movement and what qualifies as antisemitism.[2]
Candace and Ye both wore "White Lives Matter" shirts at the Yeezy Season 9 fashion show on October 3, 2022.[3] Around the same time that Ye was facing backlash for an antisemitic tweet, he appeared at the premiere of Greatest Lie Ever Sold: George Floyd and the Rise of BLM, an anti-BLM documentary backed by Candace.[4] It was reported by TMZ on October 13 that Candace had been in close communication with Ye for weeks, possibly serving as a "chief advisor" in his day-to-day life.[2] She vehemently declined the claims on social media, throwing shade at Kim Kardashian at the same time.[5]
