Background

The song was initially teased some time in 2022, likely long before North had ever recorded for the song. The song however had a completely different sound from the initial snippet as well as a shorter intro in the final version.

North would likely have recorded her feature some time after she had recorded her feature for "BOMB" by her father and Ty Dolla $ign, given similarly to that song this song features her rapping in Japanese.

The official track listing to EUSEXUA would be revealed on January 22nd, listing "North West" and "Mike Chapman" as writers. Sparking questions, it would later be revealed through a lyric booklet that North was listed as a writer as she had recorded a feature for the song. The album has been teased to expect a release date of January 24, 2025.
