"Cudi Montage" is the seventh and final track from KIDS SEE GHOSTS (Kanye West and Kid Cudi)'s debut studio album, KIDS SEE GHOSTS (2018).[1] The song features uncredited vocals from Mr. Hudson.[2]
The song is about the cyclical nature of gang violence and the belief that being free of it requires a higher power.[2][3] The song features production by Mike Dean and Dot da Genius; it is also one of two songs to not be produced by Ye, alongside "Reborn".[1][2][4]

The song is built around a sample of "Burn the Rain" by the late Kurt Cobain.[5]
Background[]
In an interview, Cudi revealed that the idea for the song was created during his Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin' Tour in 2017.[6] The opening lines in Ye's verse were reused from a demo version of "SKELETONS", which was given to Travis Scott for his album, ASTROWORLD.[7]
