DON'T KILL THE PARTY Wax Motif Remix Disco Lines Remix Coast 2 Coast Remix

"DON'T KILL THE PARTY (Max Motif Remix)" is a dance remix to Ty Dolla $ign's song "DON'T KILL THE PARTY", released as a part of his 2025 studio album TYCOON, the remix was released on the DON’T KILL THE PARTY PACK EP.[1] The song still features Quavo and Juicy J as well as entirely redone dance production by Wax Motif.

Production[]

The song features entirely new production done by Wax Motif as well as sampling by Juicy J. Juicy J's feature credit stems from his 2009 song "Let's Get High" and similar to this Pi'erre Bourne's feature stems directly from his 2021 hit song "Drunk And Nasty" featuring SossHouse artist Sharc.[2]

Background[]

The original song released as the third track to TYCOON on October 17, 2025 as the second track.[3] The idea of a remix to the song dates back to October when discussing the deluxe on stream a fan asked if the Ye version of the song would ever release, in which Ty said "we will make that happen".

On November 8th, Ty would go on stream with Wax Motif and ask his chat whether they would like to hear a "DECEMBER 31ST" dance remix or a "DON'T KILL THE PARTY" dance remix and ran a poll, "DON'T KILL THE PARTY" receiving the most votes and when told the BPM on the song Wax replied "perfect".[4] The remix was worked on live with Ty recording Ye's cut verse over the beat then asking for the acapella.[5]

On November 16, the full version of the remix featuring a Pi'erre Bourne verse was played live on Ty's stream, Pi'erre's vocals stemming directly from his song "Drunk And Nasty", though Ye's verse was not present.[2] Another further along version with Ye's verse instead of Ty's interpolation of it would be played on another stream later.

On December 12, 2025, the track released alongside the DON’T KILL THE PARTY PACK without either Ye or Pi'erre's vocals.[6] When the remixer Wax Motif was asked to release the remix with Ye, he stated "I wish I could", insinuating the problem at hand was that Ye's feature was still being blocked from releasing by Ty's label Atlantic as it also was on the final release on TYCOON.
