Jonathan Lyndale Kirk (born December 22, 1991), known professionally as DaBaby (formerly known as Baby Jesus), is an American rapper. After releasing several mixtapes between 2014 and 2018, he rose to mainstream prominence in 2019.[1]
After first being featured on the "Nah Nah Nah" remix that released in late 2020, he went on to be featured on an alternate cut for "Jail" from Donda (2021) alongside Marilyn Manson. He also appeared at the last Donda listening party and the first Sunday Service event held after the album's release. Throughout 2022-2023, several reference tracks and scrapped feature verses intended for Donda 2 from DaBaby surfaced, including a reference track for "Security," a feature verse on "Too Easy," and a reference track for "We Did It Kid."[2][3][4]
