Dear Donda is a compilation EP released by Kanye West on May 9, 2021, under Def Jam Recordings. The EP features five tracks, all of which were previously released by Ye.

The EP was released on Mother's Day and named after Kanye's late mother, Donda West. It was pulled from streaming shortly after release, for unknown reasons, though it can still be played on Spotify via its link.[1]

Trivia[]

  • This EP was received very poorly by fans, as it was very clear that Ye had zero involvement in this release. It was evident that Def Jam / UMG likely released this EP without input from Ye, as they had done similarly for other artists on their label.[2][3]
