Don't Look Down is the eleventh GOOD Friday track, released on October 22, 2010. It features vocals from Mos Def (now Yasiin Bey), Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, and Big Sean.[1]
The song's lyrics seem to allude to the controversy around the album art for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (2010), which features a nude, winged woman (phoenix) straddling a naked man. Behind this single's artwork is a similar piece, titled "Nude in Silver Fox" by Helmut Newton.[1]
The last line in Big Sean's verse ends with "see me now," which can be interpreted as a reference to the titular single that features him, Charlie Wilson, and Beyoncé.[2]
