"FADED" (also known as "I WI$H") is a song by California singer Ty Dolla $ign that is expected to release as a track to his fourth solo studio album's deluxe edition, TYCOON (2025). The song features Ty's incarcerated brother Big TC as well as backing vocals from Ye's Sunday Service Choir and is set to be a sequel to Ty's released song "I WISH" off of the aforementioned TYCOON album.

Production

The song's production was done by Camper (who was stated to have contributed to the organ of the song) as well as Ty himself and interpolates Ye's 2025 song "WW3".

Background

It's unclear when the song was initially made, though it's likely to have predated February 2025 as this is when Ye, the founder of the Sunday Service Choir, would take to X (fka Twitter) and diss multiple artists, one of these being Ty Dolla $ign. During Ty Dolla $ign's set for Coachella 2025, the latter half of this song would be previewed alongside the tracks "TWITCH" featuring Tyga and the song "PLEASE DON'T GO".

After TYCOON was pushed back in June, the version of the song played at Coachella featuring Big TC and the Sunday Service Choir would leak. On the the 24th, Ty would play an updated version of the song with a bigger presence of him in an interview with Ebro and state he "originally recorded for another beat", this original beat likely being the organ beat on the initial Big TC version. On July 8, an On The Radar performance for this song and the first official TYCOON single "ALL IN" was uploaded, previewing the reworked version of the track replacing TC and the choir with Ty.

Though the song was seemingly brought back into consideration for TYCOON later into development as it appeared as the closing track on a track list near it's release date under the title "I WISH / FADED", though did not make the final release, the other entirely solo Ty version releasing instead. The TC version of the song was thought to be scrapped, though Ty would confirm on stream it was still intended to release on the deluxe though under a different name, likely now named "FADED" as it was titled on the track list.

• It is possible the previous song with Chlöe, "WIT IT" also originates from what would have been the YEBU/VULTURES 1 sessions similar to "DON'T KILL THE PARTY", as the sessions in which created "WORSHIP" and "RIVER" were said to have had another 8 songs created amidst them, though there's no confirmation that the song is one of them.
