"FOREVER" (also known as "Timeouts") is an unreleased song by ¥$ (Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign) featuring Juice WRLD that was created during the VULTURES 1 sessions.
The song features no Kanye vocals and exclusively Ty and Juice vocals. Ty's verse on the song is believed to a reference for Kanye.
Background[]
The song dates back to November 14th, 2018 where it was originally Juice WRLD's song and was intended for his album Death Race For Love, but ended up being a throwaway track. The song was produced by Nick Mira and JRHITMAKER.[1]
In 2023, the song was revisited by Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign during the making of their album VULTURES 1. Ty recorded punch-in lines for Juice's chorus and recorded a verse for the song as well.[2] His verse is believed to have been a reference for Kanye judging from the lyrics, specifically the "I should slap Trevor Noah, just to teach him 'bout respect" line, as Trevor Noah was blamed for getting Kanye kicked from performing at the 2022 Grammy Awards.[3] According to insiders, the song was considered for release on VULTURES 1, though the song was later scrapped.
Lyrics[]
[Intro]
Uh (Bitch)
What have you, what have you, what have you done?
What have you, what have you, what have you done?
What have you, what have you?
What have you, uh
[Chorus]
What have you, what have you, what have you done?
See, if I can't have you, you belong to no one
I will make you forget every man that you fucked
This forever, forever, forever, forever
Bitch, what have you, what have you, what have you done?
See, if I can't have you, you belong to no one
I will make you forget every man that you fucked
Forever, forever, it's just us forever
[Verse 1]
Oh, oh
You probably think I'm psycho
You probably think I'm psycho
I know you think I'm psycho
I'm psycho
Heart getting warm again
Used to be cold, like my wrist
Making love to any other bitch don't really make no sense
You try to leave me, and I pop up every day in your thread
I'm still deep up in your thoughts, rather be deep in the bed
Haha, yikes, I mentioned I was psycho, right?
I hope you have insurance for your life
'Cause either way it goes, no matter what, I'll be rich for life, rich for life
[Verse 2]
She think I'm crazy
She think I'm crazy
She think I'm crazy
I think she lazy
I think if she ain't have me, she'd probably be homeless
Not with a pum-pum that, she'll never be bone less
I'll never let her leave
I'll never tell her, “Kick rocks”
I keep her overseas, like a bento box
Support financially, I bought her like thirty-four watches
She said I need therapy, she keep on callin' me toxic
I should pistol whip your ex
I should slap Trevor Noah, just to teach him 'bout respect
I should get back on the 'Gram, just to break the internet
N*ggas thought this shit was over, but I still ain't finished yet
Trivia[]
- "FOREVER" would have marked Kanye and Juice WRLD's first ever official collaboration outside of production if he were to have recorded a full verse for the song, which is unknown as to if he did in any later versions. Kanye had produced Young Thug's song, "Rich N*gga Shit", in 2021, which had featured Juice WRLD.[4]
