Frank Ocean (born October 28, 1987) is an American singer, songwriter, and rapper.[1] He is featured on a couple of Kanye's songs including "New Slaves" from Yeezus and "Frank's Track" from The Life of Pablo.

History[]

Frank earned the attention of Beyonce and JAY-Z after releasing his nostalgia, ULTRA mixtape in 2011. He was then brought to the Watch The Throne sessions, where he recorded for "No Church In The Wild" and "Made In America," with the former being the last song recorded for the project.[2] He later appeared on the outro for "New Slaves" on Yeezus.

Frank has his own track on The Life of Pablo, appropriately labeled "Frank's Track." It was originally part of "Wolves" but was separated into its own outro track. The same year, Ye was involved in Frank's projects, including a hidden feature at 2:51 on "White Ferrari" from Ocean's Blonde[3][4][5] and a poem entry on his magazine Boys Don't Cry.[6]

His 2012 song "Lost" was performed by the Sunday Service Choir at Sunday Service on December 19, 2021.[7]
