“GOD’S IN CONTROL” is a single by Iraqi-American rapper Hassan Khaffaf made for his third studio album, THE SECOND COMING. The song features vocals from Ye who additionally produced the song alongside 1SREAL, FutureSelf, and Void Stryker. It was released as a single on January 15, 2026.

Background[]

On November 15, 2025, Hassan would take to the social media platform Instagram to post a snippet of the song, captioning it:

“YE & I – GODS IN CONTROL

THANK YOU @ye”.

Since the initial Instagram post, the track has been featured on the previewed tracklists for the album. On December 5, 2025, a listening event for The Second Coming promoted solely by this track was hosted.[1] It took place in Los Angeles, and at the occasion, this track was played in full.[2] It features a completely finished chorus from Ye and the previously heard "always" bridge. It's rumored that Ye's vocals come from the CUCK era, specifically the sessions he did in Spain.

During the event, Khaffaf played two other songs related to Ye. The first of which is "DAMN" from Ye's album BULLY, the reasoning for this was that Hassan actually co-wrote the track. The other song played, however, was an unknown collaborative song between Khaffaf and Ye. The latter of which's vocals are almost completely mumbled.[3][4] The single would released on January 15, 2026, with The Second Coming.[5]

Music Video[]

On January 15, 2026, the official video for the song was released.[6] The video features a woman sitting down, not moving, while Khaffaf lies beside her. He is wearing the offensive HH-01 shirt and is dead, with his throat cut open. Many fans believe this symbolizes Ye's permanent departure from N*zism. Ye does not appear in this video. An alternative video was released three days later, now featuring Ye, where he's seen dancing to the song.[7] Near the end of this video, experimental visuals are seen. Videographer and influencer Sneako is credited as the director. The third music was released the following day.[8] The third video features the experimental visuals from the previous though for a longer duration. Ye does not appear here, and towards the end, the video is solely black. This variant was directed by American-Obama-crowned artist James Turrell.
