"Hands On" is the ninth track from Kanye West's ninth studio album, JESUS IS KING (2019).[1] The song features vocals from gospel singer Fred Hammond.
In the song, Ye speaks on God being "hands-on" in his life and talks about the Christians that have criticized Ye for his "strange behavior".[2][3]
Background[]
The first known freestyle for "Hands On" was created on August 8, 2019.[4] Originally, it was planned to be the seventh track on the album, before it was moved to the ninth track by late September.[5][6]
Remix[]
A remix for "Hands On" was planned to release on Ye and Dr. Dre's collaborative album, JESUS IS KING: The Dr. Dre Version, but neither the song nor the album released. The remix features a guest verse from Travis Scott and backing vocals from The World Famous Tony Williams.[7]
