"I'll Fly Away" is the fifth track from Kanye West's debut studio album. The College Dropout (2004).[1] It is a rendition of the famous Albert E. Brumley gospel hymn of the same name, performed by The World Famous Tony Williams and DeRay Davis.[2]

The lyrics refer to one day flying to Heaven after passing away to meet God when your life has come to an end.[2]

Lyrics[]

[Verse]
One glad morning, when this life is over
I'll fly away
To a land where joy shall never end, oh
I'll fly away

[Chorus]
Oh, I'll fly away, oh glory
I'll fly away
When I die, Hallelujah, by and by
I'll fly away
