Jesus Is Born is the debut album by the Sunday Service Choir with Kanye West acting as executive producer, released on December 25, 2019, This album follows Kanye's 2019 project, "JESUS IS KING." Released on Christmas Day, commonly recognized as the birth date of Jesus Christ. the album features a mix of traditional gospel songs, such as "Balm In Gilead" and "More Than Anything," along with the interpolated pop track "Lift Up Your Voices," and covers of Kanye's own songs, including "Father Stretch" and "Ultralight Beam."
In 2019, Kanye began hosting "Sunday Service" events, where he originally performed songs from JESUS IS KING, most notably "Water" during the Coachella Sunday Service.

Jesus is Born debuted at #2 on the US Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart, selling 6,000 copies within just a day and a half of tracking. [1]The following week, the album reached #73 on the US Billboard 200, making it the second-highest entry on that chart for the week. [2]During that same week, the album sold 10,000 album-equivalent units and maintained its position at #2 on the US Top Gospel Albums chart, following its first full week of tracking.[3]
