Kendrick Lamar Duckworth (born June 17, 1987) is an American rapper, songwriter and record producer. Since his mainstream debut in 2012 with Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, Lamar has been regarded as one of the most influential rappers of his generation and is regarded as one of the greatest rappers of all time.[1]
He is featured on Kanye West's 2016 classic "No More Parties in LA," and is a cousin to Baby Keem, who in turn is featured on Ye's more recent tracks "Praise God" and "We Did It Kid." Lamar also has songwriting credits on Ye's 2015 single "All Day."[2]
In February of 2016, Ye tweeted about him having 40 tracks with Kendrick and Young Thug[3], Consequence confirmed this on an interview with Bootleg Kev and added the tracks were produced by Madlib just like “No More Parties in LA.”[4]
