LEGEND, Pt. 1 is a song by Sean Leon that was released as part of his HERD IMMUNITY project on July 29, 2022.[1] The track was released in place of another song titled "LEGEND, Pt. 1", which ended up releasing as a different track titled "BURN EVERYTHING" featuring SYRA and Kanye West. The song serves as the sixth track to Sean Leon's seven-track album HERD IMMUNITY (2022).
Background[]
Initially, this song was a different song that featured SYRA and had a completely different sound.[2] Snippets of a further developed version of the song with a newly added feature from Kanye West had also been teased.
However, the released version of the song, titled "Legend, Pt. 1," contains none of the Kanye vocals that were teased months before. After project's release, Sean Leon clarified that the songs were not the same and had later tweeted that a sequel tape would be released "soon after" the first.[3][4] It has been assumed, but not specifically confirmed, that "Pt. 2" would feature Ye.
The track(s) come several months after Sean was featured on "SCI FI" from Donda 2 (2022). Its sequel track "BURN EVERYTHING" released as a single on November 18, 2022.[5]
