"LOVE LOVE LOVE" is an unreleased song by the hip-hop superduo ¥$ (Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign) that dates back to 2022 for West's album YEBU. The song, like another song of the era "Someday We'll All Be Free" features a Donny Hathaway sample and features production from John Cunningham.

The song samples Donny Hathaway's 1973 song, "Love, Love, Love". It is also named after Donny's song.[1]
Background[]
The initial version of the song was made in December 2022, specifically during the same sessions as "Someday We'll All Be Free" on the fourth. The song was thought to have been intended for YEBU at the time, though was later seemingly confirmed by West himself in a stream with SNEAKO in 2025 that the song was initially made for WAR with James Blake and No I.D. as the song was played alongside other tracks with James Blake, all of which were stated to be for their collaborative album.[2]
According to insider Luit, the song was seen on a YEBU tracklist from the Japan sessions, listed as the eighth track.[3] Consequence also recorded reference vocals for the song.[4]
On October 29th, 2023, Kanye associate KayCyy played a song of the same name in a Discord call named "ALL IN VEIN" which had also shared the same sample and had been intended for his mixtape, BEFORE I WAS BORN (2025). Its unclear on if this was a further developed version of the song as KayCyy had been present during the WAR sessions or another completely unrelated song.[5]
According to Instagram account @dondasplace, the Yeezy team made visualizers for two songs, one of which was "LOVE LOVE LOVE".[6] At some point, however, the song is theorized to have been handed down from West to Ty Dolla $ign as the song had seemingly made an appearance on an early track list for Ty's album $ign Language 2.[7] When the two began working on a collaborative album together, the song was carried over.
The song appeared on the infamous 40-track Bad Bitch Play Book album as the thirty-fifth track in October of that year.[8] The song had also appeared on the January 31st track list on a shirt North West had been wearing and was intended to release as a part of VULTURES 1, though had not.[9] The song had been brought back again for VULTURES 2 though had again been scrapped. The song had been speculated to have been in consideration for VULTURES 3 as when Ty had been on stream with Tyga previewing music for the album he hummed to the tune of the sample song, though the album had been scrapped after Ye and Ty had a falling out in February.[10]
Four snippets of the song were leaked, with the first being leaked on February 17, 2023. The song would leak in its entirety on October 2, 2024 as a forceleak in an attempted group-buy for the song.[11] However, it was later confirmed the version leaked was not the one up for sale on the group-buy, the group-buy version of the song featuring an actual verse instead of looped lines.
In 2025, Ye would go on stream with SNEAKO and begin playing songs created for the James Blake and No I.D. album, this song being among the several played.[2] After fans had begged SNEAKO to tell Ye to drop the album with mumble, Ye had shown interest in doing so, reaching out to collaborators to remove song opens to make the album as finished as it could have been in its form. However, Digital Nas had later confirmed that no more "unreleased" albums would be released as a result of DONDA 2 not doing well chart-wise, meaning the two albums hinted at releasing, WAR and Yandhi had ultimately been scrapped and this song has officially been scrapped.[12]
On July 15th, leaker Hogan would confirm this song had been brought back for BULLY as well, though had featured new AI vocals.[13] Taking into account that Ty had hummed the beat's melody on the Tyga stream, it's also possible the song hadn't been brought back for VULTURES 3 and instead Ty had been the AI reference vocalist for this version of the song.
