Todd Michael "Leon" Bridges (born July 13, 1989) is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He signed with Columbia Records to release his debut studio album, Coming Home (2015), which peaked at number six on the Billboard 200, received platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and earned a nomination for Best R&B Album at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards. His second and third albums, Good Thing (2018) and Gold-Diggers Sound (2021) both likewise earned nominations for the award; the former peaked at number three on the chart while the latter peaked at number 17 and saw critical acclaim.[1]
History (w/ Kanye West)[]
Despite never directly working alongside Kanye, Leon's vocals can be heard in the VULTURES 2 (2024) song "RIVER" featuring Young Thug and Charlie Wilson, as the song not only samples but heavily interpolates his own song "River".[2] He was credited as a feature for the song on an early VULTURES 1 track list for the album.
