Miles Parks McCollum (born August 23, 1997), known professionally as Lil Yachty, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. He first gained recognition in August 2015 for his viral hit "One Night" from his debut EP Summer Songs. He then released his debut mixtape Lil Boat in March 2016, and signed a joint venture record deal with Motown, Capitol Records, and Quality Control Music in June of that year.[1]

Lil Yachty has few known collabs with Kanye West, most of them originating from the Donda Mercedes-Benz sesssions in 2021.[2] Their only officially released collaborative song is Ok Ok featuring Yachty and Rooga off of Kanye West's tenth studio album Donda (2021).[3]

History (w/ Kanye West)[]

Yachty's collaborations with west date back to 2016-2017, appearing on several song that were intended for either the unreleased GOOD Music compilation album Cruel Winter or Kanye's unreleased follow-up album to The Life Of Pablo, Turbo Grafx 16. According to Yachty, he recorded multiple songs with Kanye, with the only one to surface being Face Down with him and Quavo.[4]

It is unknown if Yachty or Kanye had continued to work together through 2018-2020, but Yachty made several appearances throughout the Mercedes-Benz sessions on Donda, the only song between them throughout those sessions being Ok Ok. He seemingly also recorded several reference tracks for some songs like Jesus Lord and Hurricane.[2] Yachty also played a part in getting Kid Cudi featured on Moon.[5]
