Kanye West Wiki

Not to be confused with bootleg mixtapes, mixtapes hosted by Kanye West are mixtapes usually curated by DJs that contain Kanye West's music. They get West to do some voice lines for the project (normally for intros and skits), this is why they are considered hosted by him. Kanye hosted many mixtapes during the rollout of his debut album "The College Dropout" (2004) to get attention for his project.
