"NIGHTS ON THE MOON" is an unreleased song by ¥$ (Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign) that was created during the VULTURES 2 sessions.
Background[]
The first known version of the song was said to feature Young Moose, solely featuring a verse from the rapper and backing vocals from Kanye. The song was presumably recorded around the time he had also recorded his features for "NOT INCLUSIVE" and "STAR TIME". It's unclear if Ty ever recorded for the song.
The song was first previewed in an Instagram post by Travis Scott on May 9, 2024 to promote Travis' new line of Cactus Jack T-Rexx shoes.[1][2] Later that day, Luit confirmed that the song is called "Nights On The Moon" and it was part of the chiller sound of VULTURES 2 after its rework.[3]
The song was insinuated to have been recorded for by Travis given the caption reading "Ye and The Jack".
The Young Moose version of the track leaked on October 17, 2024 following a $1600 group-buy fundraiser by Luit in which all proceeds went towards Ukraine.
