Background

On October 14, 2020, Kanye uploaded a snippet of the song "Nah Nah Nah" on Twitter in response to erroneous polling data that appeared to show him leading both Republican candidate Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Joe Biden in Kentucky. The data was later proven to be test numbers sent out by the Associated Press ahead of the election. The full version of the song premiered on Power 92 on October 16 and was released to streaming platforms the same day at midnight.
