"Never Coming Back" is the unofficial title for an unreleased song by Kanye West, James Blake, and No I.D. that was created during the WAR sessions.
Background[]
The song was previewed at a party in London on September 26, 2022. The song appeared in an IG live by Naomi Campbell; the attention around the song led to James Blake confirming that he was the producer of all three new Ye songs that played that night, including the tracks "What I Would Have Said At Virgil’s Funeral" and "Showtime".[1][2] According to Alek, several reference tracks have been recorded for the song, although it is unknown who recorded them.
The song has a high-pitched vocal at the beginning, as well as a heavy bass that plays during the sole rap verse that has been revealed. Ye's verse consists of repeating a few phrases.[3]
