"No Child Left Behind" (originally titled "Run It Up") is the twenty-third track from Kanye West's tenth studio album, Donda (2021), and the tenth track from the deluxe version of Donda.[1][2] The song features vocals from rapper Vory.[3]
The song's theme is described as portraying the belief that "no child of God gets left behind."[3]
Production[]
The track is played 6/8 time in 147 BPM, and it is in the key of E Major.
Background[]
The song was first created during the Spirits Over The Horizon sessions on May 13, 2021.[4] Early versions of the track, which previously went by the name, "Run It Up", sounded almost completely different from the version that was released.[5] The drums were removed soon after.
On July 20, 2021, Beats by Dre previewed the song in an advertisement starring Olympics athlete Sha'Carri Richardson. The commercial also confirmed that the album would release on July 23, which ultimately did not happen.[6][3] The full song was previewed to the public two days later at the listening party in Atlanta. When the song was performed during the second LP in Atlanta on August 5, Ye levitated out of the stadium via a harness.[7] When the song was performed at the third LP in Chicago on August 26, Ye's then-wife Kim Kardashian walked up to Ye while wearing a white Balenciaga gown. As she got to Ye, he took off his black mask and smiled at Kim.[8]

No child left behind
No child left behind
No child left behind
No child left behind
No child left behind
[Verse]
Back again, I used my back against the wall
Never called on y'all, never count on y'all
I'll always count on God
Back again, I used my back against the wall
Never called on y'all, never count on y'all
I'll always count on God
[Chorus]
He's done miracles on me
He's done miracles on me
He's done miracles on me
He's done miracles on me
He's done miracles on me
He's done miracles on me
