"OH NO MY HOODIE, MY HOODIE" (Also known as "SYSTEM OVERDRIVE") is an unreleased song by Kanye West that was created during the BULLY sessions.

Production[]

The song contains a prominent sample of "Mujhe Maar Daalo" by Ashle Bhostle.[1] It has a BPM of 86.

Background[]

The song was initially teased on Ye's own Instagram on September 25, 2024.[2] The song at this point in time was said to be unnamed by JoyBoy, until another snippet was shared on October 20, 2024.[3] The song was later confirmed to be titled "OH NO MY HOODIE, MY HOODIE". On January 14, 2025 a snippet of this song with vocals was leaked.[4] The leaked version with vocals was seemingly recorded during the Switzerland listening event.

It was later confirmed that JoyBoy had been lying and that the song was actually untitled at the time, meaning the song was at no point in time titled "OH NO MY HOODIE, MY HOODIE",

Allegedly according to a Yeezy employee the vocal leaked snippet was posted by Kanye's team on purpose.[5]

On February 3rd, 2025, Kanye would state during the premiere of the Justin LaBoy interview that he believed AI and autotune were interchangeable, likely meaning every song known to not exist prior to the very late VULTURES 2 sessions is very likely AI, including this song.

Lyrics[]

[Sample: Asha Bhosle]
मरते मरते ये

[Verse: Kanye West]
I was nodding off
On that Aperol
She's got adderall
She's an animal
Keep the cameras on
This that new freak-off
She gon' make it soft
That's gon' piss me off
System overdrive
That pum-pum out the line
Tell me that it's hot
Tell-
