Bashar Barakah Jackson (July 20, 1999-February 19, 2020), better known as Pop Smoke, was an American rapper. In 2019, he had breakthrough success with his singles, "Welcome to the Party" and "Dior". Thanks to his success, he signed with labels Victor Victor Worldwide and Republic Records. He went on to release two mixtapes before his murder in Los Angeles on February 19, 2020.[1]

"Tell The Vision"[]
In 2020, Ye created the song, "Tell The Vision", in honor of Pop Smoke. Vocals from a demo version of the song would later be used when the song was released on Pop's posthumous album, Faith (2021). An alternate version of the song was released on Donda, which solely featured vocals from Pop Smoke.
