William Leonard Roberts II (born January 28, 1976), known professionally as Rick Ross, is an American rapper. He came to prominence in the later half of the 2000s when he was signed onto Def Jam Recordings upon a deal with Jay-Z.[1]
His first collaboration with Kanye West was in 2009 with Ye's feature on "Maybach Music 2."[2] The following year, Rick Ross was featured on the tracks "Monster" and "Devil in a New Dress," which are arguably the best-known collaborations between the two.[3] The two have several other collaborations between the 2009 and 2014 period.[4]
