Cristina Lee Ann Gallo, known by her stage name "STALONE" is an Award-Winning Californian R&B singer.[1][2] She gained recognition in 2021 after making several small cameos throughout Kanye West's tenth studio album Donda and being mistaken for another R&B singer, Ariana Grande.[3]
She is engaged to Dem Jointz whom assisted West in the production and writing for the record.[4] She's a semi-frequent collaborator of West, having multiple collaborative songs with the only two that have been officially released being "Believe What I Say" and "Donda."[5]
History (w/ Kanye West)[]
STALONE first met up with Kanye around the DONDA: WITH CHILD era, presumably through her mutual connection to Dem Jointz. During her sessions, STALONE would provide background vocals for multiple songs on the record, with only two songs keeping them in the end. Her features on "Believe What I Say" and "Donda" officially released alongside the rest of the Donda album in 2021.[6]
STALONE was initially confused for fellow R&B singer Ariana Grande.[7] However, Ari later cleared up the rumors and co-signed STALONE for her vocal contributions on the album.[8]
STALONE would continue to work with Kanye into the production of Donda 2, where her first ever full non-backing vocals contributions came into reality on the interludes "Donda Prayer" and "HOW COULD U."[9] She also made an appearance on the outro to the finished version of Too Easy that was named "Love Me."[10]
