"TAKE OFF YOUR DRESS" is a song by ¥$ (Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign) that was released as the seventeenth and final track from the DIGITAL DELUXE 1 edition of their second studio album, VULTURES 2, on August 7, 2024.[1]

The song samples Talmadge Armstrong's 1980 song, "Please Make It Good Again".[2]
Background[]
The song was first previewed during the afterparty for the VULTURES rave at Las Vegas on December 15, 2023.[3] This version of the song, with solo Kanye vocals, was leaked on February 10, 2024, titled "Papa Wanna See". It was not seen on any VULTURES track lists until January 31, 2024, in which it was listed as the seventeenth track on VULTURES 1.[4] The song did not end up releasing on VULTURES 1.
The song was reintroduced in a VULTURES 2 private listening party on March 9, 2024 and continued to be worked on for that record, with Ty filling in the sample vocals. The song appeared on the first official tracklist and was expected to release on VULTURES 2, which was set to drop May 3rd. However, when May 3rd came around, it did not.
The song was worked on in early April, but according to Kanye insider Rodri, it was scrapped shortly after. This news was considered a disappointment to many fans, and it was no longer expected to be on the album. This news coincided with reports that VULTURES 2 had gone under a major rework that made the album's style shift to a DONDA: WITH CHILD-type theme instead of a VULTURES 1 type theme.
An alt prod. version of the song was later played by producer SHDØW on the 30th of May[5]. The song was still believed to be scrapped, as reputable Ye leaker Luit confirmed that the song, as well as others like "Worship" that were played in the same livestream, were likely not on the tracklist.
However, it was later confirmed SHDØW was simply playing alt prods he made for the songs he played on the stream, and it had been proven that neither "Worship", "Drunk", or "Take Off Your Dress" were brought back post-rework at that point in time,[6]
"Take Off Your Dress" was later confirmed to have been put back into consideration for post-rework VULTURES 2. While it wasn't initially released on the standard edition of VULTURES 2, it was released exclusively via digital download on the YZY website on August 7, as part of the deluxe edition of the album.[7]
