The Throne is the name of the duo that is Kanye West & Jay-Z that was formed for their 2011 album Watch The Throne. The duo was not given an official name until in 2016 where the group featured on the remix to Drake's song Pop Style.[1]
In 2021, Kanye and Jay-Z alluded to the return of the duo and possibly a sequel to Watch The Throne.[2] As of latest, there has been no word or any proof of this album ever existing and the current status of the group is unknown.
Background[]
Ye rose to prominence thanks in part to his contributions on Jay's 2001 album The Blueprint, and since then, the two have been associates, collaborating on numerous occasions including their collaborative album titled Watch The Throne in which the duo taken the name "The Throne".
