Background[]
The track originated as a solo song from the American rapper DaBaby.[3] The track was left off of his two extended plays LET’S DO IT and CALL DA FIREMAN, both from 2023 and was presumably shelved.
During the Italy Sessions for Bad Bitch Play Book, DaBaby was present in a session for the album and recorded for multiple songs. Besides this, he recorded for ¥$'s track "PAPERWORK". On December 7, 2025, Ty Dolla $ign would preview the song on a live stream with Auger96.[1] The version he played didn't have vocals from West, making it unclear if Ye recorded for the song or not.
