"WE LOVE YOU" is an unreleased song by the hip-hop superduo ¥$ (Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign) that had been intended for both WAR with James Blake and No I.D. as well as Bad Bitch Play Book (2023). The song is features vocals from Coi Leray, Ye's daughter North West, and Ye's collective, the Sunday Service Choir.
Production[]
The song features a pitched up sample of the Sunday Service Choir song, Lift Up Your Voices. The song was produced by James Blake and No I.D..
Background[]
The song is said to date back to the WAR sessions with James Blake and No I.D. similar to other songs BOBBY DIGITAL and TALKING.[1] Whether James or Kanye had ever recorded for it during these sessions and if Coi Leray or Sunday Service Choir were on it at this point is unclear.
Though this song would be shelved for a period of time when WAR had been cancelled amidst Kanye's antisemitic rants, Coi Leray would use the exact verse she had on this song on her song "Too Far" on her album Trendsetter in April of that year.[2]
The song appeared on Ye and Ty Dolla $ign's infamous Bad Bitch Play Book 40-track listing as the thirty-fourth track, though the track would have actually been the thirty-fifth as there are two thirty-second tracks.[3] The song that was worked on amidst these sessions was confirmed to feature North West and the Sunday Service Choir leading many to believe it was an early version of MATTHEW, though this was later confirmed to be false.
The song was last seen on a late-October listing for Bad Bitch Play Book as the sixteenth track.[4] Whether the song was worked on after this point is unclear. On November 17th, 2025, Ty Dolla $ign would play 30 seconds of the song on twitch stream, playing more later.[5]
Trivia[]
- When the song was initially played, only Coi Leray's verse for the song was heard which was initially believed to be North West though would be confirmed by a Coi Leray info-dumper to be Coi Leray, leading people to believe North was not featured on the song as initially thought; though this would be proven false when played again on December 7.[6]
- This song and "MY SOUL" are the only collaborations Ye has had with his Sunday Service Choir directly since 2022 on the remix to "Use This Gospel".
