Yesuke

Yesuke is a fan-made name and concept for Ye (Kanye West)'s eleventh solo studio album. The name originated from /r/GoodAssSub, and spread to other Ye fan communities online such as TikTok.

On August 21, 2023, Reddit's /r/GoodAssSub moderators received a third update from an insider who was supposedly on Ye's team, and had given information which implied an album "CHANGE" was being worked on and set for an October release.

A moderator of the subreddit, /u/P0PE_FOX, posted a screenshot of a message, which simply contained an image of Yasuke, an African samurai in Japan from the 16th century.[1] This was the update sent by the insider, of course subreddit members were advised to take this information with a grain of salt. One day later, P0PE_FOX would post an edited photo of Ye's face edited onto Yasuke, titling the post "YESUKE".[2]

The /r/GoodAssSub community would discuss this fan concept / theory for a while, and it would spread onto other social media platforms such as TikTok, with the album being unknowingly branded as real. Following the beginning of the Vultures rollout in October 2023, the concept was mostly abandoned by the community.
